(ATLANTA, GA)--Theadore Kaczyniski, also known as the Unabomber personal
possession's were distrubuted on a online auction on May 18th. At the auction,
his diaries, college diplomas, tools, and more were bid for. The court-ordered
the auction to happen to ensure that the Unabomber will never be able to profit
from the material that injured and killed innocent lives. It will also benefit
his victims as well. The unabomber terriozed America from 1978  to 1996. He was
sentenced to life in prison in Florence, Colorado.

(MABLETON, GA)--On May 5, Cinco De Mayo, Pebblebrook High School experienced
an uncommon isolated incident of vandalism. According to Principle Zinta
Perkins, two male students tagged the inside and outside of the school campus
buildings. The students were found and charged less than 12 hours after the
incident, and will face severe consequences, including restitution. Since the
damages continue to be assessed, the estimated cost of damages are unknown.
According to Cobb County Police Department, the vandalism was not gang related.

(ATLANTA, GA)--Since 2007, the Historic Ebenezer Baptist Church Heritage
Sanctuary has been closed to the public. Now for the first time since the post
1970s it has been restored to look as it did when Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
co-pastored with his father, "Daddy King". Except for the organ, everything in
the church was cleaned up and restored.  The church held its reopening ceremony
on April 15, 2011.  Ken Salazar, Secretary of the Interior, was at the
historical ceremony. He said that the church and national site were important
for our children and grandchildren to view. At the end of the ceremony, Salazar
was presented the Honorary Park Ranger Award.
 
(ATLANTA, GA)--Every year, the Southern Christian Leadership Conference (SCLC)
commemorates the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. by having the
Annual Dream Keeper's Prayer Breakfast. Dr. Bill Cosby was invited to be the
Master of Ceremony. Cosby was awarded two photographs and a plaque for his hard
work and contribution to the Civil Rights Movement. Nacoleon Hillsman talked
with him about the changing of the black image, President Obama, and just to
name a few. He said that President Obama is a brilliant president, and that he
wanted our youth to show more leadership and obedience so that they can value
education.
