On Tuesday, a man shot twice at an Atlanta Mall Died. According to Sgt.
Davenport of the Atlanta Police Department, two men were arguing at The West End
Mall located at 850 Oak Street SW Atlanta, GA. One man was shot in the chest and
leg. He was transported from the scene to a local hospital and was still
breathing. Reports now indicate that the man shot has died from his injuries.

Kile Glover, the former stepson of singer Usher, was in critical condition at
Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston after being injured in an inner
tube at Lake Lanier. Reports now indicate that the 11-year-old is brain dead.
According to an accident report from the Georgia Department of Natural
Resources, Glover and a 15-year-old girl were riding in a inner tube when a
personal water craft crashed into them. Glover suffered a serious head injury
and the girl had a broken arm and a jagged wound on her head. Both were flown by
helicopter to the emergency room. 38-year-old Jeffrey Hubbard of Atlanta was
driving the personal water craft that hit the two children. Investigators say
that alcohol was not a factor.

The family released this statement:
"We know God's in control, and are leaning on our faith in Him and His word
at this most difficult time. We firmly believe in the power of prayer and ask
that you all continue to pray and lift Kile up, as it's the best way we can all
support him now."

On July 15, 2012, Tameka Raymond, the mother of Kile, created a tweet on
twitter for the first time since the incident.

According to a source close to the family, Usher visited Glover but hasn’t
returned. Tameka was married to Usher for two years until they divorced in 2009.
Ryan Glover, the father of Kile, is the President of Bounce TV, a Digital
Television Network targeted toward African American audiences.

 
On Saturday, Republican Presidential candidate Herman Cain suspended his
campaign after 5 woman made sexual allegations against him. He said that the
allegations created a distraction and effected his ability to raise
funds. Though his Presidential Campaign has come to a conclusion, he
says it isn't over. Cain has created a website called thecainsolution.com. It
is a website that gives the people a voice, "NOT" the media. He aslo said that
he will endorse a candidate soon and it will not be President Obama.

On Thurday Morning, 57-year-old Reverend Howard Creecy Jr. passed away of a
heart attack. Martin Luther King III, President and CEO of the King Center
released this statement Early Friday Morning:
“I join in mourning the death of my good friend, Reverend Howard Creecy,
Jr., a very kind and caring man who served with energetic dedication as
S.C.L.C.’s president in a time of challenge. But I also join in celebrating his
life and his wonderful example of service to God, to the cause of social justice
and to humanity. My prayers go out to Reverend Creecy’s family. He will be
missed by many, and his spirit will live on in our hearts.”
The funeral is set for Saturday, August 6, 2011 at 11:00AM at Jackson
Memorial Baptist Church. Creecy was a Civil Rights Activist.

''I thought they were electrifying and brilliant'', says Michelle Quiller of
Cobb County. Quiller and thousands continued to attend the fireworks in Lenox
Square. She said the fireworks were a blast and would come in any secure

(ATLANTA, GA)--Former President Bill Clinton was awarded the Lifetime
Achievement Award by the 2011 National Charter Schools Conference. According to
the conference, the award recognizes Clinton's support for Public Charter
Schools for more than 20 years. Clinton said the journey began in 1992, when he
began fundraising for charter schools without the help of the federal
government. The NAPCS is a Nonprofit Organization committed to advancing Public
Charter Schools. The 20th Anniversary will be held in Minneapolis, Minnesota in
2012.
 
(ATLANTA, GA)--The AMC Television series is filming its second season of "The
Walking Dead". According to Director Frank Darabont, the series that is creating
nearly two point one billion dollars will film thirteen episodes in the greater
Atlanta Area. Because of the twenty percent tax break in Georgia, the show will
help the economy. Georgia is one of the five top states for movie and television
productions, yet three-hundred productions were shot in the state last year.
"The Walking Dead" will premiere in October 2011.

International Monetary Conference at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel. "U.S. Economic
Growth so far this year looks to have been somewhat slower than expected",
Bernanke told the conference . He also said inflation is becoming ingrained in
our economy, increases in products, such as gasoline account for so much of the
overall increase in inflation. The International Monetary Conference is a
private organization that permits its members and guests informal discussions,

20th Century Veterans Memorial. During the ceremony, Veterans who have lost
their lives are remembered and celebrated. Among the Veterans and Citizens there

for people to visit the Veterans whether they have died or they still live. For
